A warm ivory saree printed all over in a fine star-and-lotus lattice of crimson, saffron and deep green, in the manner of a traditional jaal. Small mirrors and sequins are set through the pattern, so the saree catches the light softly as you move.
The pallu is where the detail deepens. Scalloped dove-grey panels are appliquéd along the hem, each worked in hand embroidery with delicate floral sprigs in coral, zari thread and sequins. A broad striped border in red, mustard and teal runs beside them, finished with mirror work. The Bemberg crepe is smooth and fluid, and it falls in soft, graceful folds.
An unstitched blouse fabric in matching cream comes with the saree, with the print, embroidered neckline, sleeve panels and back already placed on the fabric, so you can have it stitched to your own fit and style.
